Corporate Sustainability

We are a values-based organization built around our Core Values. In furtherance of our values, we have implemented and are committed to several initiatives that promote conducting our business in a manner that promotes environmental stewardship, socially responsible and ethical business practices and giving back to our employees and communities.

Corporate Sustainability Report

SBP is a values-based organization and we seek to live our Core Values in our relationships with our employees, customers, suppliers and communities. We also believe that corporate sustainability goes hand-in-hand with our Core Values and overall management approach.  Our Corporate Sustainability Report provides an overview of our policies, programs and initiatives around relevant sustainability matters.

Code of Conduct & Ethics

At SBP, we believe you should “always do the right thing, even when it is hard,” and this is why we have created and implemented our Code of Conduct and Ethics.  Our Code of Conduct and Ethics aims to foster a culture of integrity that support our Core Values.  Our Code of Conduct and Ethics is designed to assist our employees with issues they may encounter in their work and support our commitment to conducting business with uncompromising integrity.

Supplier Code of Conduct

SBP is committed to conducting business in an ethical, legal and socially responsible manner.  SBP expects its suppliers, contractors and consultants to share this same commitment.  SBP has adopted a Supplier Code of Conduct that sets forth these expectations.

Giving Back

We are also committed to our core value of “using our influence to have a uniquely positive impact” on the people that we touch. Through our initiatives such as “Impact” and “Serve,” we encourage and incentivize our employees to aid fellow employees in need and to better serve our communities and the people we directly influence.

Impact Program

SBP’s Impact program provides financial relief to employees during times of financial hardship.  This program is funded primarily by our senior management. In 2023, the Impact program raised $75,863.53 and provided 51 grants totaling $130,261 benefiting 45 employees experiencing hardship.

Serve Program (THRIVE)

We encourage our employees to serve our communities.  SBP’s Serve program matches personal charitable donations, or out-of-pocket cost associated with employee volunteer service, up to $1,000 and provides paid volunteer time up to 16 hours annually.
